We’re delighted to introduce you to our amazing team at RADS Whitsunday. Owned by the friendly duo, Aaron and Tracy, our company provides respite accommodation in the gorgeous Whitsundays region. Whether your family is on holiday in Queensland or you live close by you can relax at your own pace in our safe, homey respite accommodation. All our guests have the advantage of participating in exciting indoor and outdoor activities. Person centered care and access to the one of the world 7 natural wonders – the Great Barrier Reef.
All our staff are highly experienced and very welcoming. We have serveral AIN’s (Attendant-In-Nursing) on the team and some of our disability support workers have backgrounds in dementia care and building behavioral skills, autism and experience with intellectual disabilities.
If you’re eager for some outdoor adventure, we can take you boating, jet skiing and we’ve got several golfers in the team who can give you some golf lessons. You can also learn some fishing tips from our keen fishermen.
Tracy is the owner and founder of RADS along with her husband Aaron. Together, they have a hands-on approach ensuring every guest is treated like family and feels right at home. Tracy has experience in roles as a Disability Support Worker and Assistant-in-Nursing and a Cert IV Disability. She has completed courses ranging from First Aid and Manual Handling to Assisting with Medications, PEG feeding, Challenging Behavior and Infection Control.
Tracy is also a Professional Solo Artist, Singer and Guitarist. You can expact sing-alongs and jamming sessions as part of the entertainment and things-to-do at RADS.
